SHARON STONE
The recent review of Sharon Stone's new movie, "The Mighty", seemed like a common one about any other coming-back actor that we have read before.
Time after time, we have seen a fabulous review about an actor who happened to be in one or more movies currently shown.
He or she is making a comeback; his or her career is now in more meaningful path. Did we not hear about Pam Grier and Robert Forster after "Jackie Brown," Burt Reynolds after "Boogie Nights," or Peter Fonda after "Ulee's Gold"?
Then either they failed to capitalize or their luck stopped short.
Their names then disappeared faster than their movies at the theatres. It is all in the name of self-promoting that an actor has to claim their latest work was a labor of love.
Only time can tell.
At any moment, an actor's name or his work is only as good as his or her past accomplishment or failure.
