The Place: Benihana's in Burlingame
The Date: Wednesday, February 6, 2002
The Time: 7:45pm
The Organizer: Michelle
The Poem:
She might look sixteen
And she might look sweet
But she's getting older very soon
And she really likes to eat

It's Dot's birthday this weekend
And she's got one birthday wish
That we all come hang out with her
And help her eat fish (sushi and steak actually)

My friends really know how to make a girl feel loved. Even though it was a middle of the week, about 28 people showed up to help me celebrate my birthday at Benihana's. As you can tell, all my girls were there and then those who surprised me with their presence. They brave down to Burlingame from SF, SJ and across the bay.

The night started with Kei buying me a glass of wine and ended it with Wetzel getting me a shots of Jaeger from a strange man from Chicago at the bar. Michelle did a fabulous job organizing such a phenomenal (see there is that word again) Dinner. Even all those "engaged" were there on a week night: yep you know who you are... Joday and Sylvie, Boyd and Sue, Jake and Nicole.

Everyone was coordinated enough, even after few cocktails to catch the shrimps flying over their head, well except for Q - umm.. he missed it three times. Matt tried to make us some fried rice, but the cook was not so up for it, but for some reason, Trina was able to play around the grill... isn't it wonderful being a girl?

A big thank you to my wonderful and awesome friends for a birthday this little girl will always remember!!
