HAWAII
      O'hau

This is Waimea Bay. The water was so clear that it looked fake, like someone sprinkled blue dye in the water...

Hawaii was awesome, but the stay was too short. I will definitely have to go back soon and spend little more time. Too bad that the best part of the trip was on the last day, when we went on a Hawaii Island Adventure. Our guides Ernie and Kai(or you can call him Jim: I believe that was his name) were so cool. It was great to learn about the legends and the history of the places in O'hau as we drove to places to places. I boogie boarded, snorkeled, hiked to the waterfall, and even chomped on some native leaves (supposedly help with the sore throat: the tree was called Sour Apple Tree). If you are ever in Ohau, I highly recommend that adventure, but make sure you request Ernie and Kai though.

This was taken at the end of our tour. We were sad to be leaving that day...since we had so much fun. The tall, dark and handsome dude with crazy tattoo on my right is Kai. He was a pure joy to our eyes, well except for Shawn of course. Ernie is hiding behind Kelly. It was a tour that we will always remember...

Here we are at the Luau. I wasn't brave enough to eat the Kalua Pig or Poi, but the volcano drink was mighty tasty.

hey Ernie, if you are reading this by any chance, the shark picture did not come out :( but one with you giving me the bird did!! Keep in touch so that next time (in September) I come to O'hau we can hang out (dotkooo@aol.com)
