The Star Trek Trekker belt was the idea of my buddy, Chris Ferro. One day he got into this mode where he started calling me "Trekie" (he still hasn't let up), even though I kept telling him I'm a "Trekker." Somewhere along the way, Chris' made the suggestion that I should make a Star Trek title belt to celebrate my "trekiness," and this design is what resulted from that comment.

This was one of the quickest designs to make (less than an afternoon's work) and I actually liked it a lot. The trouble was I wanted to have an image of the Starship Enterprise in the middle of the main plate and, believe it or not, I couldn't find an image on the Net good enough to use. And without good ol' NCC-1701 flying across the Federation's logo, the design is just way too plain.

I didn't bury this design too deeply, though. If I come across an image worthy of assimilation, this design may become a reality.
