Hardcore Dots
Well what can I say about Hardcore dots, not to be played by the weak that’s for damn sure. Hardcore dots combines the skill first learned in the original dots and forms them into a shape of a letter of the Arabic alphabet, (anything else is just too complicated). The game follows the same rules as the original dotty game but is simply more HARDCORE, hence the name. The official World champion grid is shown below.
Officially this can be played on non-championship level in any letter shape but for World championship it MUST be in the shape of the letter “C” because it provides the most challenging shape with the maximum ease of drawing. Another letter, which comes very highly recommended, is that of the letter “E”, this is similar to the letter “C” but takes just a little bit longer to draw.
Hardcore dots has not played such a significant role in this new era of dotty mayhem but nevertheless it’s efforts should not be ignored. Hardcore dots has seen many-a-nail-biting moment. I don’t think any of us will ever forget the day the double title of world dotty and world hardcore championship was taken of it’s present holder at the time, (no names mentioned), all within three hours, the final match of set of which was Hardcore dots. Of course those were the days in which title matches consisted of a best-of-three system, now that GCSEs are out of the road the two main masters simply don’t have the time.
ANYWAY, HERE ARE SOME HARDCORE FACTS:
1. The championship has been fought for 36 times.
2. The championship has changed times only 12 times.
3. The game was invented out of jealousy.
4. Only two people on Earth actually know and understand how to play it. (Go on, prove me wrong).
