Parasite Eve 2 Story:Three years after the tragedy in New York, mitochondria-related incidents were reported in scattered regions across the US. Eventually, the cases disappeared and it seemed the bizarre attack finally came to an end. But on September 9, 2000, the stage for another tragedy was set. That evening, a number of mitochondria creatures appeared in the Acropolis Tower, a modern high-rise building in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Contact was lost with the SWAT team sent to contain the situation, and a rooftop assault ended with a helicopter in flames. In an attempt to control the chaos, the FBI deployed its newly formed Mitochondria Investigation and Suppression Team known as MIST. Aya Brea returns as one of the investigators working for MIST, after resigning from her post in the New York Police Department. Mitochondria, which have a reverse aging effect, lay dormant inside her body, causing her to look younger than her actual age. She will now face what are called neo-mitochondria creatures (NMC), which can disguise themselves in human form. We've also learned that a second character will join Aya in battle. However, you won't have control over this character during battle.
