After  Surgery (cont.)

March 2002

Things are getting better and better.  Wednesday I bought a suit at the Men's Wearhouse off the rack.  The only alteration needed was hem the pants and sleeves.  Today I bought a pair of dress shoes from a regular shoe store (I still need a 3E, but I was able to buy regular shoes that are not tennis shoes).  I've been wearing tennis shoes to my job for almost two years.  The suit I got married in had to have a panel put in the pants so it would fit.  Last month I tried to get my wedding suit cut down so I could wear it.  It was impossible, the tailor did the best he could but the suit looked like a tent on me.  I spent around $500.oo for that suit.  The one I bought at the Men's Wearhouse cost less than $300.oo.  It so nice to buy off the rack and not pay a fortune.

I am able to do so much more than before the surgery.  Some of my health problems have started to resurface, but not to the extent that they were before surgery.  I am getting a lot more exercise because it doesn't hurt to move like it used to.

My abdominal wound healed a little over a month ago.  I really credit the Regranex.  What a relief not to have to mess with that.  Thank God for an insurance policy that pays for such prescriptions.
