Brianna's Bedroom, painted by 'Aunty' Carmen and Lorriane
There are two themes in this little 9' by 9' bedroom, as you can see.  The first is an underwater theme, based on the works of Wyland, and the second is a jungle theme, based on some other pictures that we found.  We did this by photocopying the images onto a transparency, and then projecting them onto the wall, where Lorraine traced over the images with a pencil.  She then applied the base coat, and Carmen did the detailing.  Also, on the ceiling, I have applied glow-in-the-dark paint, in the shape of Constellations, and we also have a beam of light coming out of the lighthouse.
The brown sand is textured spray paint, and matches the scrap of carpet that we were lucky enough to recieve free, from my friend Steve.
This is the furnished room, with the cradle in the position where the crib will be placed, when we get it from IKEA.
In these pictures, Brianna was 5 minutes old, right after her ceasarian birth.
The rest of these are all from the stay in the hospital.
