Before we start, lets be clear that I am not some wacko of any religious faith or political persuasion. I am just an individual who has a few thoughts and opinions that I want to put across.
Is it not about time that you people who live in the United States of America begin to realize that you are not the only country in the world, and that not every country in the world (citizens included) have the same aspirations and desires as yours. In a time where most if not all other Western nations had stopped their stupid quests of imperial colonialism, America is still at it, trying to establish their rule away from their home. Who gave America the mandate to act like John Wayne? If America would allow the United Nations to run as it was intended to things might be a little different.
As for September 11th, I realize and recognize that this was a serious and dramatic incident that was senseless and terrible in its nature and application. However, get over it. You can't go around and keep bringing it up and 'banging your drum' in some stupid attempt to give yourself a higher moral ground. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
America has had it its own way for so long, like the creation of the modern states in the Middle East - surely they were not created for the benefit of the people who live there. Hell no, they were created to act as a buffer between America and the USSR. But it looked like they weren't so happy with that arrangement after awhile now were they?
Another point to consider is the continuous and ridiculous events that are happening in Israel and Palestine. Here both America and the UK should take a long hard look at themselves. Surely more thought should have gone into the creation of the Jewish state? But no. Money talks, and we all know that it is money that virtually runs the State of America, hence some of the reasons as to why they do little when the Israeli's go about their business of dispossessing the Palestinians of more of their land and more of their peoples lives. Who can blame the people of Palestine from getting a little upset and wanting to retaliate, and retaliate in only a very limited way. They are only doing the same thing that the people of Algeria did to the French in the 1950's. But now I guess there is more money or something at stake and the Jewish state is doing just the same thing as what was done to them for the past several hundred years. Is it not time to stop and realize that there are better ways of dealing with political, social and cultural differences?
But now back to America. You are suppose to be one of the most multicultural nations in the world, and with that said, your armed forcers are bound to have consisted of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds for the past 400 years of so that there has been a European presence in the Americas. With that said, why is it so hard to believe that one of your own would join the opposing forces to your imperialistic ways in Afghanistan? We are suppose to be living in a global world now with free markets and all that crap, so why wouldn't someone go of and do something that is becoming part of the new world order?
America can't expect to go about doing what it does, imposing its will and forces around the world and not expect some form of opposition. Just because you are now the only recognized super power does not give you a mandate to do what you like, or to expect that everyone will be happy with what you do. Oh sure governments from other so-called democratic states will be there backing you up, and offering various forms of support. But how much of this support is brought about by imperialistic ideals and western domination and the realization that it is economically in their best interests to comply when the $US is supposed to be the corner stone of the economic world, and that any deviation would see a devaluation of one's currency and world stocks and commodities?
You have to get over yourselves and begin to understand that the world does not revolve around you, though I am sure most people think that is the way it is. A classic example of this is your so called world series baseball. How can it be called a 'world series' when their are no other countries involved? America really has to get over itself.
