The Off Season

On The Off Season we did some major work on the car putting in a new rack n pinion steering, also making changes to the left front wheel, we went from a 13inch wide rim down to 8inch wide with a sprint car tyre to compensate.

We had two new fibreglass doors made as well as a new bonnet.

After buying the car from Mark Osborne (who is a lot smaller build than myself) we had to remake the fibreglass seat to take my bigger frame and we also lowered it. We did the usual things you normally do on the off season, changing oils, checking over the mechanics of the car and just general maintenance really. Woody my engineer also made a new front for the car (a lot of steel and a lot of welding).

We brought a new trailer and we also concentrated on modifying it to take the saloon car.
