British atlas turns world upside down
London – British publisher, Dorling Kindersley, has released an atlas that features an upside down view of Earth. “Why should north always be at the top of the map?” asked Andrew “Which-way-is-up” Heritage, chief cartographer for the educational publishing company. “It is an irritating orthodoxy,” he added needlessly.
Other books to be released by this company in the coming months include The Spice Girls: Songstresses of the Millennium, Margaret Thatcher: The Feminine Prime Minister, British Hockey: Look out Canada! and Budweiser: King of Beers. |
