Quebec City, PQ – 24 hours after Jean Cretien suggested a truce with Quebec, there has been no hint of a response from Quebec. Cretien made a speech yesterday outlining a plan that Quebec and Canada have a 4-year truce on any further discussion of Separation.
“HI toll you dat HI am totally confuse,” Cretien muttered from his office at Parliament Hill. “HI jus don’t get hit!”
A spokesman for the ruling Parti Quebecois party in Quebec said, “HI’m tell you dat we listened to dat speech. HI mean dair was heveryone dair. HI tink dat the problem was dat not won of we hunderstood what he say. His haccent is so bad dat we could not comprende!”
