A couple of years ago my friend, Mary K, taught me how to crochet. This was a wonderful gift to give me because I get so much pleasure out of this hobby. Not only can I create "one of a kind" gifts, but it is also a way to relax and reduce stress. I have given many blankets, scarves, and other projects away without taking pictures, but I've decided that from now on I will take pictures of projects as I complete them and post them here so that I can keep a photo record of them to remember them and to see my (hopefully)improvement.
This was my very first project ever! Even though it is full of goofs, it has great sentimental value to me and I'll never give this one away.
This baby blanket was an experiment with a new method of crocheting. I learned several new stitches on my own with this one. I'm pleased with how it turned out.
This is a blanket I just completed today (Aug. 1, 2003) for my cousin Trent and his wife Heather's new baby, Ruby. It's very soft and fluffy and I hope the baby will like it.
