We will be staying at the Carnelian Woods Condos which are located between Tahoe City and King’s Beach on the northwest side of the lake. The condos are nicely decorated and have a fireplace, outdoor ski lockers, and washer/dryer; there is also a heated pool, dry saunas, and outdoor hot tub at the clubhouse.
We will have a variety of ski areas to choose from including Heavenly Valley, Kirkwood, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Tahoe Donner, and Northstar-at-Tahoe. Squaw, Alpine, and Northstar are about a 15 to 20 minute drive. Heavenly and Kirkwood are about an hour away at South Lake Tahoe.
The package price of $240.00 includes lodging and rental car. Airfare should run about $350.00 to Reno, Nevada. Lift tickets should run about $260.00 for 6 days. The deposit for this trip is
