AZAGHAL (FIN) "Mustamaa" (1999) [DRAGONTHRONE/AT WAR REC.] cass.album
This I'm going to review is the official tape version of the Finish Azaghal debut album. well, they play raw (yeah!) black metal with some really cool riffs and sometimes the vocalist also use clean vocals which I really appreciated. Azaghal is not exactly an original band as sometimes remind me too much Darkthrone and other ones Immortal but I really don't mind about this as it's just what my hears want to listen to!
This is about the first side of the tape. Instead, coming to the other side, I must tell you that the sound is over semplified black metal with a really bad sound too especially referring to the drums.Is this the same band?
Anyway, if you're fond of black metal à la Darkthrone as me, I really advice to check this band out (the CD/LP version of this tape is out on Melancholy Prod.).
