BLOOD STORM (USA) "Pestilence from the dragonstar" (2000)[SOUL SOLD MUSIC]
It’s quite rare to receive a great album like such a “Pestilence from dragonstar” so it’s with further pleasure I’m going to review it.
To present this talented and slaughterous band to all of you who didn't get the change to listen to their debut "The Atlantean Wardragon" on Cacophonous, I can tell you the vocalist & guitarist of the band is not really a new musician to all the fans of the USA black/thrash metal and more precisely of the supreme band from USA playing this kind of style. I'm talking about Absu and surely mostly of you will remember Mezzadrurus furiously playing on stage with them.
To be clear, I just mentioned Absu to introduce Blood storm as even if both the bands have some obvious common points, like creating excellent aggressive black/thrash tunes, this doesn’t really mean Blood storm lack of personality. On the opposite, their ability in sounding incessantly so destructive is truly exceptional for mostly of the bands and even their intense recall of the old 80’ies tunes sounds innovative! All of you who will approach Blood storm getting the new “Pestilence from the dragonstar” album will plenty satisfied and will be a new fan of the band at once.
If you can't find it in your shop I definitely advice you to order it directly through their label for $15 ppd:
