As the country side band Arcturus also the out standing Borknagar likes to experiment with new ideas: is not possible to give a flat label to their music as it is surely not flat, on the contrary it is really rich in imagination and in interesting elements which the band took from metal music but not only. As the music also lyrics are really deep and sublime and remind me the "cosmic pessimism"!! The mighty waves of "Oceans Rise" will drag you to new unreal worlds and your mind will lose every landmarks in "Universal" and when the final notes of "Fields of Long Gone Presence" will sound, your mind will continue to wander and wander in "The Archaic Course".
