CELESTIAL ODE [Self financed] 18.23” (2001)
In spite of the name this band hailing from Greece is not really another melodic gothic-black metal band. Lots of elements in their sound are taken from the power, speed and also thrash metal.
This self financed debut album recorded between the end of year 2000 and the start of 2001 is the result of different years of hard work of these talented musicians.
I want to dedicated few other lines to the vocals. The singer seems to be a great fans of power metal; unfortunately I’m not but I agree they suit Celestial Ode’s sound really good. On the opposite, I consider the sporadic use of growl vocals out of place
