MORNINGRISE (ITA) "Dragons of the sun" (1998) [SELF PRODUCTION]
This is a new band from Italy that plays a really various music with different influences from death metal (in Crematory's vein) to heavy/power ones. The good thing of this variety is that the result of their different influences, that you could listen to in this MCD "Dragons of the sun", is not chaotic; on the contrary they match perfectly as, for example, in the harmonious and enchanting song "Crystal Suite". The band seems to be inspired by the world of fantasy and nature but "Dragons of the sun" concept, that really suits to Morningrise's music, is also dedicated to ancient myths as you could easily understand reading, for example, the lyrics of "Lordly it was" that is about Caesar and his Empire.
