NOCTIFERIA (SLO)“Per Aspera” (2001) [eRotica pRomotions]
Noctiferia is a particular band. First of all, they was strong enough in surviving the flat metal scene in their country, Slovenia, so they’ve been working hard to make the band known in the other European countries, also touring with bands like i.e. Malevolent Creation and Catastrophic.
“Per Aspera” is a well performed album and it’s also supported by a good production. Talking about their sound, it embraces a huge range of styles, taking inspiration from bands like Samael (“Ceremonies of the opposites”) but also Morbid Angel and adding lots of ancient tunes and heavy metal parts.
Not so many bands play this mixture of styles so this could be another good point to get in touch with :
