RAISE HELL (SWE) "Holy Target" (1998) [NUCLEAR BLAST] Playing time: 41.52" I was really astonished by the fantastic Raise Hell 's debut album: a young but skilled (listen for example to the fast and mighty drummer Dennis Ekdahl) Swedish band who shows us a violent black/death metal with many thrash influences. I've also really appreciated the raw and original vocals by Jonas Nilsson, which suit this furious music really well. In addiction to this the recordings (The Abyss Studio) and production is really professional so "Holy Target" sound more and more a mighty album. Probably someone will have a doubts about these musician as they are so young and as their debut album is under the big label Nuclear Blast but I advice you to listen to their music before to judge them. After this you'll agree with me "holy Target" is a bomb album and it's only the debut one... I'm yearning for a new one!
