THE FALLEN (USA) "The Tones in which we speak" 40.08"
It's a kind of controversial topic when it comes to make a review of a professional band who play a kind of style is not really my cup of tea. This is the case of The Fallen.
What I can't really enjoy about this band is the use of the vocals that often reminds me bands like Fear Factory, Meshuggah and Gorefest and that sometimes is really too much "hardcorish". You can hear a miscellaneous of influences from thrash/death metal to the more hardcore elements I describe you above and that's definitely not in my taste.
On the other hand, this is something that makes The Fallen different from the other death metal bands. So, out of my personal taste, if you like this kind of style, you should give a chance to this band as the production is strong and professional and the sound is really competitive with the other more "famous" bands playing this genre.
