ALLEGIANCE (SWE)
I was waiting for this album from January 1999 and finally after 5 long months I can finally listen to it and it's simply fantastic. Most of the songs are really fast and violent but you could also listen to many tempo's variations as in "Hrodvitners rike". Even though Allegiance mostly sounds black metal in Dark Funeral, Marduk (maybe is the influence of the mighty drummer Fredrik Andersson from this famous band?) it's really interesting to listen to some cool guitars riffs which remind me the Swedish death(!) metal king Dismember (listen to "Stjärnoras skugga" and you will be agree with me) and other ones more in the heavy metal vein. In my opinion, "Vedre" is the best album of this band as it sounds more aggressive and more various at the same time. These proud Swedish guys who declare themselves the King of Sweden should be really proud of their music too.
