Notes |
Probably the most
beautifully designed high-rise in Dayton, and the most successful
to date, Fifth-Third Center (originally named Citizen's Federal
Center) was the first highrise to be built dowtown after a 10 year
period that started at the building boom that ended in 1978. Four
motorized search-lights are mounted at the top of the building
that can be seen for miles, but are rarely used except for special
events downtown. Viewed from high up in the Kettering Tower, one
can see 'through' the slotted octagon shaped pyramid at the top of
the building. |
