MORDRECK OF MENSA
Mordreck was put in Galactic Championship Wrestling by his friend, UFSP President Cordanus, when the GCW managed to escape closing down permanently by traveling backwards in time to the present day several days before the Proclamation of 2110. His job was to close GCW down by reducing their ranks until there were no longer enough wrestlers to put on a half-way decent fight card. Mordreck tried to accomplish this mission by putting a clause in the match contract that every wrestler must sign if they wanted to challenge him. Simply put, "If you lost the match in any way (pinfall/submission, disqualification/count-out), you were out of wrestling permanently." (You couldn't even re-start your career in another promotion. You had to look for another job. Did that suck or what?).
Mordreck was doing well in his mission, ending the careers of Taurus, Hercules Adonis (capturing the GCW Heavyweight title at the time before losing it on the next fight card to Armageddon, the Midnight Warriors, and the Chalisian Strike Force. Finally, Commissioner Thomas Nixon had enough and ordered Armageddon to defend the GCW Title against Mordreck at the GCW supercard, GALACTIC CLASH, on July 4 in Dayton, OH. Mordreck was told he must win the title or he must leave the GCW forever, and all of the wrestlers he had "retired" would be immediately re-instated to active duty in GCW. To further entice Mordreck to accept the match, he put the future of the entire GCW promotion on the line, stating that if Mordreck did capture the GCW title, GCW would shut down permanently right then and there.
Fortunately, for GCW fans, Mordreck failed to capture the title and was forced to leave the GCW forever.
When Mordreck returned to 2113 to report his failure to Cordanus, the UFSP President didn't take the news graciously. In fact, he was so angry that he banished Mordreck not only from the Mensa system, but from Dimension K entirely. Rumors spread rampant that Cordanus ordered the militia on Mensa to shoot Mordreck on sight if he returned to Dimension K. Before leaving the dimension, Mordreck caught wind of Cordanus' plan to send six members of the Mensan Militia, led by General Farkri Dzorder to GCW in the year 2003, to finish the job Mordreck couldn't accomplish, with orders to deplete their roster "by any means necessary." Mordreck knew he had to get back to GCW and warn everybody, regardless of their personal feelings for him. But he would need some way to gain their trust if he was to help them save their promotion from their biggest threat since, well...since him.
Through secretive investigation, Mordreck learned that Cordanus himself ordered the Militia to obtain the Tridellium 7 used to destroy Chalisia IV, and to plant evidence to suggest that the Aethrans were responsible for the attack, all part of his clandestine plan to ban wrestling and gain total control of the GWF.
Armed with this information, Mordreck knew he had what he needed to return to GCW in 2003 and talk to Commissioner Nixon and plead his case. He was honor-bound to uphold his end of his lifetime ban of wrestling anywhere, but there was nothing that said he couldn't be a referee. So, he was allowed to return to GCW as a troubleshooting referee. He then went to the Chalisians (Counter-Strike, Razer, Bayne and N'Glect) and told them what he knew. Together with Scott Creed and Carnage (who were feuding with former Chalisian Strike Force member Rayge and his new partner Roadkill), they formed the GCW COALITION.
Mordreck has vowed to help the GCW win their war against the Mensan Militia whenever possible as a referee by making sure that they don't win a match he officiates.
