He only learned about six months before the HWA travelled back in time that his father was the younger brother of Omega by the name of Epsilon, who died several years earlier in a prison rehab while cleansing his body years of repetitive drug abuse after a failed attempt to follow in his brother's footsteps. It was under the influence of those drugs that Epsilon abandoned his son on New Chalisia.
