In addition to supporting the national philanthopies of Delta Phi Epsilon, the Alpha Kappa chapter also participates in local community events and on-campus fundraisers.
The town of Madison holds "Bottle Hill Day" annually in October. We have participated in this event for several years now. We braid and wrap the hair for young girls and also provide pumpkins and paint for the children to decorate. (picture to right) |

| Phi Sigma Kappa holds a 24 hour continuous Softball Marathon annually and donate all proceeds to the J.P. Modugno Scholarship and The Valerie Fund. The active sisters of the Alpha Kappa chapter along with our alumnae sisters each sponsor a team every year. (picture to left) |

| The sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon coordinate "Campus Man" every Fall, where male contestants compete for the Campus Man crown. Proceeds are donated toward Cystic Fibrosis. |

- Decorating a room in Madison's Haunted Mansion Festival, for the children of the community
