Why Schwarz?

Because he's really, really, really, reallyreallyreally cool! When I first heard of G Gundam, I didn't think much of Schwarz. Sure, I was in shock for a couple weeks after being spoiled as to who he was back there, but other than that, my interest in him was minimal.

When the G community started growing, I noticed that people always agreed on Schwarz's supreme coolness. I hadn't seen a single episode with him yet, so my thoughts were that they were just over reacting.

But then I did see episode 16..the Shinjuku arc..and then the Guyana arc...

No one over estimated Schwarz. He's one of the few things out there that live up to the hype. He is cool personified and that's all I can say.

....Just ignore the mask, okay?
