Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
1(10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup onions, chopped
3 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli
8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 dash paprika
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. 2 In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together condensed soup, mayonnaise, egg and onions. 3 Place frozen broccoli into a very large mixing bowl. (I like to use my large stainless steel bowl to mix this recipe thoroughly.) Break up the frozen broccoli. Using a rubber spatula, scrape soup- mayonnaise mixture on top of broccoli, and mix well. Sprinkle on cheese, and mix well. Spread mixture into prepared baking dish, and smooth top of casserole. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. 4 Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.


Baked Beans with Ground Beef Casserole

Ingredients
2 28 oz cans of Bush's Original Baked Beans
1lb Ground Beef
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar (or more to taste)
1/4 Green Pepper
1/4 Onion
Ketchup
Mustard
Desired Seasoning
Bacon (optional)
Dice Green peppers and Onions and sauté with ground beef, season beef and veggies to taste with salt, pepper, lowreys. After beef is browned drain and add beans (drain one can, pour all of other can in). Add brown sugar to taste and a small amount of mustard (1tsp or so) and ketchup (1 table spoon or so). After these ingredients are heated through, pour in baking dish lay 2 strips of bacon on top and bake at 325 for about 45 minutes or until bacon is done.


Beef Potato House Pie Casserole

6 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) package processed American cheese, sliced
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, then mash with milk and butter until smooth. 2 In a large, deep skillet over medium high heat, combine ground beef, onion and green pepper. Cook until beef is evenly brown. Drain excess fat. Season with salt and pepper. 3 In a deep casserole dish, spoon a layer of beef mixture. Spread a layer of mashed potato over the beef. Continue alternating layers until the dish is full. Top with cheese. 4 Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.


Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole

1/2 pound ground round
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained
3 cups cooked long-grain rice
1 cup fat-free sour cream
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup skim milk
3/4 cup reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
Directions 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2 Cook first 3 ingredients in a large nonstick skillet over medium- high heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Add water and next 6 ingredients (water through chiles); bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Uncover and simmer an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside. 3 Combine the rice, sour cream, sliced green onions, and milk in a bowl. Spoon rice mixture into a 9-inch baking dish. Top with beef mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.


Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

1 pound ground beef
8 ounces spaghetti
1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the ground beef for 5 minutes, or until browned; drain excess fat. 3 Prepare the spaghetti according to package directions; drain water. 4 In a 2 quart casserole, combine the browned beef, cooked spaghetti, tomatoes, onion soup mix, sour cream, basil, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Mix together well. 5 Cover dish and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Top with the cheese and bake, uncovered, for 15 more minutes.


Beef and Pita Casserole

5 pita bread, cut into squares
1/4 cup butter, divided
1 1/4 pounds beef sirloin, cut into thin 2 inch strips
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). 2 Cut the pita bread into squares and saute them with 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, for 5 minutes. Spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish. 3 In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and saute the beef strips for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in the tomato sauce, cover and let simmer until the beef is cooked; about 5 minutes. 4 Pour the beef mixture over the pita bread cubes. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until bubbly.


Bierock Casserole

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained and pressed dry
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 Brown onion and ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat; drain extra fat out of skillet, then stir in drained sauerkraut. Heat through and set aside. 3 Press 1 package of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread beef mixture on top, then lay 2nd package of crescent roll dough over the top of the beef mixture. Press dough seams together and sprinkle all with cheese. 4 Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.


Cabbage Roll Casserole

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
3 1/2 pounds chopped cabbage
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 teaspoon salt
2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
Directions 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 In a large skillet, brown beef in oil over medium high heat until redness is gone. Drain off fat. 3 In a large mixing bowl combine the onion, tomato sauce, cabbage, rice and salt. Add meat and mix all together. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour broth over meat mixture and bake in the preheated oven, covered, for 1 hour. Stir, replace cover and bake for another 30 minutes.


Calico Bean Casserole

1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (16 ounce) can baked beans with pork
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans, undrained
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 pound lean ground beef
4 ounces bacon, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the ground beef, bacon and onion together until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain fat. 3 In a large mixing bowl, combine the kidney beans, baked beans with pork and butter beans. Stir in the ketchup, white vinegar, dry mustard, brown sugar and cook beef mixture. Mix thoroughly, adding salt and pepper to taste. 4 Pour the bean and meat mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.


Chili Casserole

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can chili
1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
1/4 cup taco sauce
1 (15 ounce) can corn
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the beef and onion for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meat is browned and onion is tender; drain fat. Add the celery, chili, tomatoes, taco sauce and corn. Heat thoroughly, reduce heat to low and allow to simmer. 3 Meanwhile, prepare the noodles according to package directions. When cooked, place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the meat mixture over the noodles, stirring well. Top with the cheese. 4 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes, or until cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
