Crafts that are a little Harder!
FEBRUARY

  • This is a box that originally held regular #10 envelopes. Custom printing orders come in these types of boxes and are usually tossed out to the trash regularly. Mine now holds my glue gun and sticks and several of these stacked in your closet, add a little extra touch to an otherwise dreary closet and give you that extra storage space that most of us need.

  • What a great idea for your Special Valentine! My photo can not reflect how truly pretty these are. They can be used to hold all sorts of things and what a wonderful way to present a valentine card or gift. A Ribbon 'n' Tassel Bookmark (project instructions available at this site) made with a red tassel and white ribbon is a great insert for this cannister or a small piece of jewelry or create a little scroll note for your valentine and insert inside. This is a very pretty, yet inexpensive gift wrapping and of course you are contributing to the wellness of the environment by recycling.

  • You can use any width of ribbon you like for this project but you will need to place the widest ribbon on the bottom of the bookmark.

  • These cards are very easy, you just need a little imagination and the photo should help you with placement. These cards consist only of cut outs from paper doilies and a victorian vignette. Little victorian clip art is available at several internet sites (a search for "victorian clip art", will bring up several sites) or you can clip pictures from magazines, etc.

  • Start by locating about six doilies with good strong scalloped edges. These work best since you'll be cutting them into quarters to get the heart shape. Choose six different shades of pink fabric, including reds, purples and some novelty prints.
