Ping Pong Ball Games:
Decorate the Ping Pong Balls: I guess the easiest and fastest way to decorate a ping pong ball would be to use sharpies or other permanent-ink markers - they are available in various colors and tip widths and they dry pretty fast. Paint pens might work, but they'd be slower to dry. You
could also probably glue almost anything to them, but again, there
would be a drying time, and the glue could affect the balance of the
ball as they are trying to drop it into the container. ~Lucinda

Plink-o: Take a tall box lid, the taller the better, and hot glue in dowel pins 4 inches, pencils (No points), you could fold a chenille stem/pipe cleaner in half and twist it together, slip it through the cardboard, spread the ends apart on the back to make tabs and glue/tape the tabs down (~Lucinda) and then you make slots on the bottom to catch the ball, these can have points values on them as well, and you can lean the box and have the kids drop their ping pong balls down as a race to the bottom, or for points and little prizes.

Ping Pong Ball in the Box Lid: This game is adaptable to any holiday or occasion. You'll need a ping pong ball and a cardboard box lid - a shirt box is fine. Cut a hole in the center and tape a paper cup under the hole - this will be the target for the ball. Other holes that the ball could drop through should be cut as hazards. Decorate according to holiday with crayons, markers, construction paper, etc. For instance, on Halloween make it a jack-o-lantern. Cut out holes for eyes and mouth large enough for the ball to fall through. To play, drop the ping pong ball into corner of box and have child maneuver box lid trying to get ball in paper cup without letting it fall through any of the other holes.

Ping Pong Relay Races: Spoon relay, you can make
it more difficult by having an "obstacle" course type track, done
indoors by robbing the couch and chairs of cushions and pillows, or
by using more than one spoon and ball per person...lol....ohhhh, and
you can do a short race where they have to push the ping pong balls
with their noses, or push them along with air by blowing through a
straw. Or you could try a relay where they have
to balance a ping pong ball on top of one foot (or both feet) and
travel a certain course - team who gets the most into a
jar/bowl/bucket wins. ~Lucinda

Bobbing for ping pong balls game where you
place them in a big tub of water and they have a set amount of time
to grab a ping pong ball (using only their feet)...team with the
most ping pong balls wins. ~Lucinda

Ping Pong Ball Throw: Throw them at empty 35 mm film canisters ~Lucinda You can stack them in the shape of a triangle you can also decorate them for points, Blue is 5 points and red is 3 etc...

Target Game: Put some velcro
on the ping pong balls and have them throw them at a felt bullseye board or
something like that. Just my 2 cents. ~ Lori To make the game a little harder you can have the kids take a plastic spoon and fling the ping pong balls at the Target.

Hot Potato: Much like musical chairs you can play Hot Potato to music. When the music stops the person holding the "Potato" leaves the game, this continues until there is a winner.

Ball Drop: (Substitute Clothespins for Ping Pong Balls) The taller you are, the farther they fall! Players decorate their own clothespins in this fun game that's great for eye-hand coordination.
WHAT YOU NEEDLarge-mouthed plastic container. Try a 30 oz. NESTLÉ NESQUIK canister, Clothespins (old-fashioned wooden ones are best), Colored Marker pens (Permanent), 4-inch pieces of colored yard or ribbon
HOW TO DO IT Clean out the NESQUIK container. Place the container on the floor. Give the players the same number of clothespins. Have each player color code their clothespins with the marker pens and tie the yarn or string around each. Kids can also write their names on each clothespin. Have the players stand back and take turns dropping clothespins into the container. They must stand straight, not bend over the container and take turns. The player with the most clothespins in the container wins. Play as many rounds as you like.
