A 12ft carbon carp rod for spinning Two rods, an old Daiwa Moonraker with an Abu 6000c (30 years old) and an Abu Atlantic with a Abu 6000. Main reel line 15 lb with a 30 lb shock leader. Single 2/0 blue hook on a short 8 & 12 inch trace (two rods!).The trace was 3 feet above the gripper weights (4.5 oz and 6 oz). |

Pouting | Small pouts which made the reel alarm sing, on running ledger terminal tackle. |
Conger | Mid tide run, Jamie got a small bite. One hissing, seriously ticked off strap conger! |
