High tide was about 18:00 I think, but the sea was running to a 15 ft swell and when they came in - well - How the fish didn't drown I dont know. Big tide 7.2ish m-1.1 m but who could tell! Sun rise 08:09 - Sun set 16:55 |
Bait | Frozen commercial bait mackerel and sand eel. |
Tackle |
Two rods again, an old Daiwa Moonraker with an Abu 6000c (30 years old) and an Abu Atlantic with a Abu 6000. Main reel line 15 lb with a 30 lb shock leader. Single 2/0 blue hook on a short 8 & 12 inch trace (two rods!).The trace was 3 feet above the gripper weights (4.5 oz and 6 oz). |
