PowerABG is a new advanced arterial blood gas interpreter. It helps the physician ,in all specialties, to save time and interpret the arterial blood gases and electrolytes with ease and accurately.

PowerABG 2.0 is the most powerful and comprehensive acid-base interpreter. It is not only an upgrade from PowerABG 1.2 but it was developed to work in PocketPC and Windows CE platform in order to satisfy the frequent requests form the users and to help them have this beneficial tool in their pocket all the time without the need to go a computer station.

However, this version has more power to interpret the arterial blood gas values than the previous version.
It is special in limiting differential diagnosis list according to more sophisticated equations requiring more value entry. And to be able to do so, PowerABG 2.0 also has room form not only arterial blood gas values but also urine electrolyte values. Therefore, PowerABG 2.0 has a more comprehensive and wider view.

PowerABG 1.2 is desktop software works in Windows XP platform. It provides differential diagnosis for the four main acid-base disturbances (metabolic and respiratory acidosis and alkalosis). It also has the capability to teach acid-base interpretation by having a built-in advanced acid-base article. Also it has the option either to use the Handerson-Hasselbalch equation for validation purpose.
PowerABG 1.2 also has the option to show advanced result of calculations to allow the user to understand the rational behind the interpretation. Also PowerABG 1.2 is loaded with other useful options.
