Holistic Care Center Courses and Degree Program

Mission
Our mission is to educate those who qualify
and meet our guidelines holistic health care.
We provide the student with the knowledge
and practical skills necessary to
practice holistic health care safely
and efficiently.
Students must be 18 years of age have graduated
high school or have a G.E.D. and be able to
provide a copy of the high school diploma or
G.E.D.
Students applying for the Holistic Health Practitioner
Degree Program must submit the application fee
with the application. Upon evaluation and
verification of the application, applicant
will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection.
The application fee is non refundable.
When an applicant is accepted, the fees for
the Holistic Health Practitioner Degree Program must
pay for the Degree prior to being admitted into the
class room or beginning a correspondence course and
provide 2 passport pictures and copy of either a
valid driver's license, military ID, or state
ID for identification.
Books, herbs and other materials are not included
in the classes or Degree Program and are the
responsibility of the student to purchase the
materials.
Students enrolling in individual classes must
submit payment with enrollment. The student
will receive a Certificate when the class is
successfully completed and having passed the
final exam. The Certificate does not make one
a doctor, or HHP, rather is shows the completion
of a course.
There will be no refunds for dropping classes.
Course Guidelines
· Doctorial Program: Students that maintain
an A+ average are eligible to apply for
Ph.D Candidate; this does include the final exam.
Upon examination and verification of the application,
the student will receive a letter of acceptance or
denial for the Ph.D Candidate Program.
The student may then use Ph.D instead of HHP.
This Ph.D, although does indicate a doctor,
does not indicate that the student is a
medical doctor (M.D.), rather a Doctor of Holistic Care
(DHC). Students accepted into this program are
required to research a holistic subject,
collect data, write a thesis on the subject
and give a seminar or presentation of the research.
· Thesis: Students are required to choose a
holistic subject to write a thesis and is
required before graduation. It is strongly
suggested that the student choose the subject
very early into the degree program and begin research
on the subject immediately after. Either the
thesis must be typed or a computer print out and
must be formatted using no greater than a
12-point font. The thesis must also be formatted
so that the line spacing is 1 ½. The font type
must be either trebuchet ms, arial, arial black,
times new roman or currier new. The thesis is
required to be presented in an attractive
professional binder or folder with a cover page.
Graphics, tables, and footnotes may be used through
out the thesis and the thesis must contain data,
however, the thesis must be no less than 50 pages
and no more than 200 pages. The thesis can be submitted
two ways; by writing and mailing it in or by Microsoft
PowerPoint and mail the disk in.
· Materials: Books, herbs, and other lab
equipment are the sole responsibility of the
student and are not included in the fee for the
Degree Program
· Final Exam: The fee for the final exam is
$50.00 and is not included in the fee for the
Degree Program. The final exam will only
be administered at the Holistic Care Center
and cannot be taken via correspondence.
The fee is non refundable should a student
fail the final examination. To pass the
final exam, the student must have completed to
satisfaction all of the requirements of the
degree program and score no less than 85% on
the final exam. A letter will be sent to the
student with the exam score and or degree.
Ph.D candidates will receive notification with
the exam scores. The HHP Degree and or the Ph.D
will only be issued if the student has
successfully met all the criteria and after
passing the final exam. Notification of the
final exam may take up to six to eight weeks.
Contact the Holistic Care Center if notification
has not been received by that time. The estimated time
for the Final Exam is 3 days.
Rules, regulations, policy and guidelines are
subject to revision.
