News - May 2003 to December 2004

If Mr. Zedo can update, so can I :) I have a number of points to bring up.

1.
I'm back. Seriously. May God strike me down if I'm lying. I have a job, with a lot of free time, equally divided between Hardwar and Morrowind. If you combined Hardwar's flying and trading system with Morrowind's RPG element (i.e. the On-Foot section) you may just have the perfect game.

2.
The next installment is going to be uploaded either today or tomorrow. Or I may decide to release it on the 15th, this site's First Birthday.

3.
I highly recommend you visit Wez's Hardwar.info and download Hardwar Enhanced 0.90. It's under the Uploads section of the Downloads page. Simply install U3.00b5, backup HardwarW.exe, then overwrite it with the Hardwar E version. While there are still bugs, the major issues have been fixed i.e. insane economy (it's been reduced to slightly eccentric) and corrupt save files. A number of new additions have been made too, so check it out. Credit goes to Max for his programming genius.

4.
For some reason, my Hit Counter decided to reset on New Year's Day. It should read 450+current amount, so instead of trying to mess around with it, I'll change it to XX visitors since 1st January 2004.

I guess that's it for another six months. Heh, only kidding. I'll try to update at least once a week, with a new installment every few weeks. Hey, I'm only one man.

UPDATE: Almost forgot, you probably won't notice but I made a few spelling corrections and updates to the Transcript. I actually figured out what the guy in the intro movie says after, 'He bit me one time'. It's, 'He bit me one time, on the head', instead of 'He knew'. Also, I'm not happy with the site design. I'll probably have a new one up for the site's First Birthday.

UPDATE 2: Apparently the reason my hit counter failed was because of 'malicious users'. It should now be working correctly at it's proper value.

Sorry again for no updates. The job thing didn't work out, and the pressure is on to find one, meaning I didn't have time to write. It's half done though. I'd just like to take a moment to say,
I GOT INTO MY UNIVERSITY! YES! YES! YES!
Ahem. I hate results day, but this is a cause for celebration :)

Wow. That's a lot of hits (for one of my sites lol). Thanks guys :)
Sorry for the complete lack of updates. This is due to two reasons. 1. School/Exams, and 2. Searching for a job. One of these is resolved, the other is (hopefully) almost resolved. Since pressure is off (and I'm bored out of my mind with nothing to do) I'm writing again. Part Four will be done very soon. With a recorded 60 words per minute, it shouldn't take too long :)
