Red Letters 1
"So, where's the nutty one?"
An evil smile on his face, Angelus turned to glare at his lover.
"Uh, well," the beautiful brunette shot him a lopsided smile, "I kinda lost him."
"You what???" He had her by her hair in an instant. "Listen, lover!"
She hissed at him, when he violently smashed her head into the wall.
"Sometimes you're more of an idiot then he is."
He punched her in the yaw to stress his point.
"I know you despise the sodding little pansy but I have plans for him - got it, bitch!?!
An other vicious aim at her yaw.
"Watch it, lover!"
His fist got caught in a dead grip.
"How dare..." He spat, backing up ever so slightly.
"Oh will you shut up already, Angelus!" The brunette threw back at him.
They stared at each other for several minutes.
Either demon to the forth. Neither willing to make the first move.
"You win!" All of a sudden the dark-haired vampire let go of her hair. "This time."
"Yip," she blew him a kiss. "Just as yesterday and the day before."
"Drusilla!!!"
***
"Nothing 'bout a good fuck."
Resting his head on the vampiress' stomachAngelus waited for her to respond.
"Hm," she purred seductively, only to seconds later dig her fingernails into his scalp. "Stupid toff got himself rescued by the soddin' slayer!"
It took him some time for her word to sink in.
"Eh, Drusilla, sweeting?" An iron fist clamped down on the small of her hand. "You wouldn't just indicate toyboy being held hostage by the slayer???"
He very slowly rose his head to stare down at his lover.
Realizing the floating wave of glee on her face the dark-haired vampire went for her furiously.
"Listen, Angelus," she shot him her best I-am-not-impressed look.
But the one addressed didn't give a rat's ass.
"You silly twit," he spat, twisting her delicate wrist until he heard the satisfying snap.
"Watch it, lover!" Drusilla glared, her features never altering.
Then out of nowhere she latched out with her free hand, leaving five bleeding streaks on the pale of his cheek.
"Dru, Dru," he chuckled. "Some just never learn..."
In a sudden fit of rage, she had him flying off of the bed.
"Listen, lover," she hissed at her growling companion. "Do this while all sexy on me, fine!" Outrageous yellow eyes burnt into equally wreathed ones. "But if this is all about frustration, see for ya toyboy returned to the fold!"
They glared at one another for several long minutes.
Neither willing to back off.
Finally and once again it was Angelus to give in.
"You win, brat-o-mine." An affectionate smile on his face he none too gently swatted her hand. "this time!"
"Yip," she shot him an evil smirk before she flopped back down on their bed. "Just as yesterday, and the day before."

Meanwhile at the Summer's residence.
"Ya'lright?" A concerned look on her face Buffy checked on the dark-haired rescuee for possible injuries. Apart from the obvious black eye there were several bad cuts and bruises.
**Where did he get them from?**
The blonde slayer wondered quietly. She only remembered him being punched in the face - not that he'd done anything to deserve it. But obviously that basketcase of a vampiress had thought differently about that. She felt a wave of sympathy wash over her.
**Poor kid.**
**Oh, well, not quite a kid anymore.**
At first Buffy had half expected him to be a vampire, but since he hadn't attacked her or even go grr, she figured him to be a college student who kinda accidentally had got himself into the fight. An other point was she didn't get any vibes from him. None of her spider senses tingling.
However, there were butterflies in the stomach. Lots of butterflies!
During all of her check-up the young man remained silent, although his bluest of eyes never leaving her face.
**Must be in shock!**
The slayer concluded.
Before she even thought about it she was holding his hand, in what she hoped to be a soothing manner.
**Good heavens, he is cold.**
The tiny blonde gave him her most encouraging smile.
He didn't even bat a lash, only his eyes took on a deeper shade of blue.
"My name's Buffy," she finally blurted out, when she felt she just couldn't stand an other minute of silence.
But still, no reply.
"Well, we're at my place," she babbled nervously. "Wanna say ya're save here, in case you wondered... eh you wouldn't happen to believe in love on first... eh no, definite no, forget that I asked..."
She stopped, flushed with embarrassment.
**Gomigod, did I just say this out loud?**
Immediately Buffy tried to pull away.
But much to her surprise the brown hottie held on to her hand.
And if possible she even turned into a brighter shade of red.
**Can this get any more embarrassing?**
**Will you stop it already, Buffy!**
"Eh, excuse me..." she stumbled tucking at their entwined hands.
No reply. Nothing but a dreamy look on his face.
**God, he's gorgeous.**
**Look at that cheekbones.**
As so he had heard that last comment, his eyes suddenly came to life.
"William." He said, in what Buffy assumed to be the sexiest voice on Earth. Thinking about it, everything about him was sexy.
"Duh hu???" The words were out in an instant.
And instantly she smacked herself for them.
They stared at one another for several long minutes.
Neither willing or capable to form a coherent sentence.
"My name," he finally broke the somewhat awkward silence. "It's William." And after another few seconds. "Will you take me back? I'm hungry."
Buffy quietly wondered what this was all about, but decided he still had to be into shock. So she just tucked at their still entwined hands, indicating him to follow her into the kitchen.
"K, see we've got bread, cheese, chocolate..."
Head buried in the depth of their fridge Buffy gave a quick run-down on its contents.
"Drusilla will be very cross."
She stopped in the midst of her report.
"Drusilla?" She double-checked now in full slayer mode.
Her dark-haired companion didn't seem to hear her.
"If I've been good she'll feed me leftovers." He looked at her out of big uncertain eyes. "But I haven't been good tonight. Haven't proved myself useful - no leftovers for William, no, no..."
Buffy gave his hand a firm squeeze.
"You're still in shock, aren't ya?"
She reached out to brush a brown lock out of his face.
This finally seemed to get his attention. His eyes unveiled, and he leaned into her touch, but only for the shortest of second.
"I'm hungry," his beautiful blue eyes stared at her pleadingly. "Will you feed me, slayer?"
She stubbed his nose in a playful manner.
"Sure thing," sweet smile on her face she turned back into the fridge. "There's fruit, yogurt... wait a minute, how comes you know 'bout me being the slayer???"
She had him pinned to the wall immediately.
"Spill!!!" When he didn't react she finally backed up a little.
For the very first time in all of her slayer life Buffy couldn't decide whether her opponent to be human or not.
"She'll come for me," William continued in a serious voice. "She'll come for me, so she can punish me. She likes punishing me. They both do. Please don't let them punish me, Buffy."
Although his words didn't make sense, his obvious hurt shook her to the core. Without second thought she gave up on her dead grip.
Carefully she maneuvered him to the nearest stool.
**What the heck have they done to him?**
She silently wondered, loud she said.
"Wait here, I'll be right back."
She quickly left for her cell phone, when it came to her like a shock.

"Giles, we've got a situation..."
more to come...
