"Hi there 'Belle," Nycaea, rider of light-green Heuth, greets Jeszibelle cheerfully. "Good to see you again, and Keilebeth has grown, almost the same size as Heuth now. Is she still the stubborn little drama queen she was when she was a hatchling?" Nycaea asks and giggles as Keilebeth's large head pops through the large opening from her cavern. I am not stubborn...I'm just strongly oppionated. Heuth, would you tell that rider of yours to stop calling me names! Keilebeth whines loud enough for Nycaea to hear her. "Nycaea, you're going to make me crazy, the way you patronize them so. Let's get to the ceremony, I do not want to be deemed the 'late one' ever again!" Jeszibelle says and smiles at Nycaea, who giggles and walks out to the ledge of Jeszibelle's weyr where Heuth awaits her. |
Weyrling Master D'lrik, who was smiling brightly at his graduating students, stepped forward, and started talking as the crowd got quiet. "You have been one of my best weyrling classes. As soon as I say that, the next Weyrling class will show you up faster than a flit a feeding time." At this, he smiles as the class laughs. Jeszibelle looks at D'lrik with admiration, wishing she could move and speak to crowds that way. "You've all learned to fly, to flame, to go Between. You've learned to to cope with being more odd than other dragons. You've shown yourselves to be strong dragons in every aspect." D'lrik grins, and scans his class, seeing all the smiling and teary faces. "I've seen you male dragons eyeing females - both of normal coloration, and of the two-toned variety. This clearly proves you to be fully functional male dragons...if you get my drift. Go forth and prosper." He says and sees the boys, now men, smiling and noding. "Ladies, feel free to sign up at any Weyr you feel comfortable to rise at. We're not too sure what will come out of the eggs, but we'll be proud of you no matter what hatches." D'lrik says and his Aurekinth rumbles happily. "As a parting gift, the smithcraft has done up some lovely pins. If you don't want one, don't take one. If you do want one, display it with pride. Go forth Dragonriders. Make us proud." D'lrik finishes as a thunderous applause breaks out, and the first of Jeszibelle's class stands up to go get their pens. Jeszibelle followed them proudly, and takes her pin from the table, admiring it as she walks away from the table and over to her friends, and Keilebeth. |
This is a happy day for all. I do not need to be hovered over by an over anxious rider of mine. Go, have fun. Go dance and talk and do other things that make you happy. Keilebeth says to her rider, who sits next to her green looking hopefully at the men sitting around or looking for a dance partner. "I do believe you are right, my love. I shouldn't be sitting here waiting for someone to ask me to dance. I'm going to go find a dance partner. You know, I always was the timid shy little girl. I can't believe what I've turned into." Jeszibelle says thoughtfully as she stares at the dance floor once more before getting up. I always knew you'd be perfect. You are mine, and I am yours. Even the hansomest dragon or rider could not take us away from each other. Keilebeth says and smirks and snorts at the surrounding male dragons. "Maybe you should not rise, then? If you do not want anything to come between us, what'll become to our mates?" Jeszibelle teases Keilebeth and walks towards a large group of men, waiting for someone to dance with. |
A moment later, Jeszibelle saw C'thal heading for the boys Barracks. Jeszibelle sighed and turned away. She wasn't going to let one of her friends spoil her day by leaving without saying goodbye. The next person she saw shouldn't have even been there, but she was glad he was. "Hello again, Jeszibelle." M'lei says. Jeszibelle runs up to him and hugs him tightly. "What in Faranth's name are you doing here M'lei?" Jeszibelle asks after she lets him out of her embrace. "I came to congratulate you and your own. I am, after all, obligated to see my favorite person graduate from Weyrlinghood." M'lei says and waves to some familiar faces. "So, you came down from Karayan just to see me?" Jeszibelle asks him. "Of course. After all, I am to see you home. You are coming home with me, arn't you?" M'lei asks. "Yes. But I've also decided to let Keilebeth rise where she wants to. I've found a nice little refuge called Vella Crean in the mountains, and she seems to like it very much." Jeszibelle says as Keilebeth's large triangle shaped head swerves over to them and croons. "I see. I guess that part is taken care of already, then. While we're still here, shall we dance?" M'lei asks as he takes Jeszibelle's hand. "I thought you'd never ask. Even if you didn't, I would have." Jeszibelle says as they walk out onto the dance floor. |

Two Turns Later |
Jeszibelle and M'lei sit on the edge of the lake while Keilebeth and Juntoth, M'lei's brown, doze lazily nearby. "I know, M'lei. I just think it may be time to find Keilebeth sonewhere to rise. That's all." Jeszibelle says as she tosses a rock into the lake. "Oh. Has it really been that long since you left Ryslen?" M'lei asks. "Two turns, almost to the day. I guess my new quest is to find a place for Keilebeth to rise at." Jeszibelle says and looks at the sleepy green. There's always Ryslen...and there's a new place up near Istabitha's. Green Tehanuth's rider went there a few days ago. She says it was very cozy, although small. Keilebeth says and yawns. "I think we shall go visit this Vella Crean, then. I hope they don't mind the intrusion." Jeszibelle says as she tosses another rock into the lake. "Well, if you're going to visit Vella Crean today, I'd best go talk to Alemia. She wanted to ask me a question, and never got around to asking me. Strange girl, that Alemia." M'lei says and stands up slowly. "She does seem a little off balance. She has a nasty temper, too. But when she is in a good mood, she can be very pleasant." Jeszibelle states, and stretches her legs, sore from sitting in the same position for such a long time. Beth, love, get up. We're going to go visit Vella Crean now. |
