You decide to pay a visit to Incendo. His path is long, but relatively smooth and level, so going is easy. Soon, you reach a small shed, built of rock instead of wood, considering the obvious shortcomings of that material in this realm.
You walk through the doorway, and find yourself in what seems to be a nursery. There are supplies like food and toys in one corner and, in the other, there is a large pen of stone. Inside the pen, you see a tiny red hatchling dragon.
The baby looks up at you with big, sparkling eyes. It is currently pinning down a small chewtoy, but it immeditely decides that you are more interesting. Abandoning the colorful toy, it pads over, places its paws on the side of the pen, and trills up at you happily.
"You must be Incendo," you laugh, waving at the hatchling. You watch it play for a while, until you notice a small plaque near the pen. You walk over to read it.
Incendo is the baby of the Fire Realm. He is greatly loved by all of the creatures here, big or small, and is slightly spoiled as a result. He is sweet and playful by nature. As he matures, however, he will get a fiercer side to him, so that he will be able to defend himself and take care of himself in the wild. He's a proud creature, so don't call him any pet names, especially cutie pie. Even the tiniest fire dragons have nasty breath weapons available at their whim.
Making a mental note not to even say cutie pie within a 5-mile vicinity of the youngling, you turn back to watch the babe's antics for a little while longer. Soon, however, it's time for you to go. You wave goodbye to Incendo, and return to the signpost.
