You decide to meet Agilis. His path stretches out to your left, and you walk along it carefully, watching the zig-zagging lightning with a wary eye. The path is short and straight, making the journey easy.
At the end of the path, you reach a circular platform made of obsidian. No lightning rods protect the area, so you hesitate, and decide not to continue. Instead, you squint out, looking for any sign of Agilis. Suddenly, your eyes focus on a flash of black, and you find yourself facing a large dragon.
"Eep!" you squeak, startled. "Er...hi?"
The dragon cocks its head a bit, and shifts its feet.
"...hello," you say. "Are you Agilis?"
The dragon nods happily, waving its tail and flapping its vibrant wings, but still not saying a word.
"Well...hello, Agilis!" you reply, patting the dragon's head. "Er...can you talk?"
Agilis shakes his head sadly, and nods over to a plaque at your right. You walk over to it, the dragon at your heels, and you begin to read.
Agilis is a beautiful horn-crested dragon of the Stormy variety. Unfortunately, he is mute, but still very intelligent and friendly. Ams found him at Skyhaven in Trialle, and fell in love with his joyful attitude and friendly demeanor. He absorbs power and strength from Lightning, and this was the only sensible place to put him! Feel free to feed him a snack from your backpack, he likes that.
Shrugging, you dig around in the backpack and come up with a little granola bar. You break it in half, eat some yourself, and give the rest to a very thankful Agilis. As a token of appreciation, Agilis scampers off to his platform and sends lightning bolts shooting from his claws into the sky. In turn, he swoops up, catches lightning in his claws, and absorbs strength. Applauding with awe and appreciation, you watch as Agilis soars away. Then, you return to the signpost and continue your ventures.
