You decide to meet Occanus. His trail leads far along the beach, so you enjoy a pleasent stroll, looking out over the endless waters and breathing in the sweet ocean breeze. Seagulls soar over the distant waves, and you see beautiful shells scattered all over the sand.
Soon, you come to a small cluster of large grey rocks, leaning against each other so that they create a cave. There a few little pools surrounding the cave, with dozens of shiny treasures at their shallow bottoms. But the most fantastic sight in the little area is a deep blue dragon crouching by one of the pools, nosing through the trinkets.
"Hello?" you ask carefully, hoping you don't startle the dragon. The blue creature looks calmly up at you, and rearranges its wings before trotting over to you and depositing something at your feet. It turns out to be a glistening shell.
"Oh, thank you!" you cry, picking up the beautiful treasure. "Is this for me?"
The dragon sits down and nods happily.
"That's very, very pretty," you say, depositing the gift in your bag. "Are you Occanus?"
The dragon nods again, though it still doesn't say a word.
"Nice to meet you," you say, beginning to like the small dragon very much. "I'm exploring Dracogrex, and I thought I'd like to meet you. Er...how did you get here? Where do you come from?"
Occanus pauses for a moment, then gets up and trots over to a little plaque. He points with his nose, and you read.
Occanus is a beautiful KingdomDragon specemin, a dark blue variety. Unfortunately, he is mute, only making a few small trilling noises or screeches when he's frightened. He's rarely hostile or unfriendly, often presenting his visitors with a small gift, usually some shell or other trinket that he finds on his explorations. If you want to talk to him, ask yes/no questions, which he'll gladly answer.
Amaryllis adopted Occanus from Aurora's ODA Branch, before its unfortunate dissapearance. She wanted to adopt a dark variety while she had the chance, and the Calli/Ferro clutch was the opprotune moment. She gave Occanus his own little corner of the Ocean Realm, and it suits him just fine.
You smile, and pat Occanus's head. "It was wonderful to meet you, Occanus," you say, "but I should probably keep exploring. You looked like you were involved in something when I came."
Occanus nods happily, fluttering his wings and trotting back to his pool. You thank him again for your gift, and return to the signpost to keep exploring the Ocean Realm.
