You decide that you would like to meet Loris. His path leads behind you, so you turn and begin to walk it. It is relatively short and straight, making the walk breif and easy.
Soon enough, you come to a floating platform. On it are several rocks, some artificial grass that is made to serve the porpose of real grass (yeah!), a tree, some toys, and a little purple critter.
"Hullo?" the creature asks, trotting up to you and staring at you curiously. "Are you with Dracogrex?"
"I'm exploring Dracogrex," you clarify. "I thought I'd like to come and meet you. You're Loris?"
"Yup!" Loris says cheerfully, scratching one ear with a hind paw. "I'm Loris, and I'm a Gryphon. Well, a Reverse Gryphon. See," he explains, "instead of having forepaws and back claws, like normal Gryphons, I'm the other way around. It's a mutation, but, then, true gryphons are a rare thing, aren't they? Breeders always want mutations, mutations, mutations; they're never satisfied with the normal thing."
You nod, taking Loris's word for it. "So, where did Amaryllis find you?"
"Well," Loris begins, "she paid a visit to Roaring Dragons a long time ago, before it closed down indefinately. I was exploring the forest, when I met Amaryllis. I immediately liked her, and vice versa, so she offered to take me to live in Dracogrex. She told me all about the Sky Realm, and I was really excited. I never really liked the forest much, see, and I love to fly. So she brought me here, and gave me this place. She designed it to seem just like the place I lived in back at R.D. I'm really happy here," Loris finishes, beaming. "Amaryllis is the best."
You nod. "I can see why you'd say that," you agree.
"Yeah," Loris says happily. "Well, I'll bet that you want to get back to your exploring, so...have at it. It was nice to meet you."
"You, too," you say, smiling. Loris's happiness is contagious. Waving to the little purple Gryphon, you return to the signpost to keep exploring.
