My Atlantis

The ocean, usually so calm and quiet was making her voice heard. The usually peaceful ocean was now a raging tidal wave heading toward the land. The wav,e as if built on our fears, rose to swallow our city, our way of life.
I was not afraid. What good would it do? The wave would come nevertheless. So, why be afraid?
I knew I could not escape. The great wave would claim me. The skies so clear, the moon so full. As I lie down to dream the endless dream, knowing I would never walk your beaches again. Or gaze upon your glory. I'm loyal to you. I will stay. You shall not be alone. I shall never leave you. My Atlantis.
But we shall not be forgotten. You'll be on the tounges of generations to come. You will be remembered by those that live. You will never be forgotten.
My Atlantis.
