| Prekratio je život u dvadesetsedmoj godini i tim činom snažno obeležio svoju poeziju, koja je od početka bila zaokupljena motivom smrti. Ostavio je iza sebe zbirke "Uzalud je budim" (1957), "Poreklo nade" i "Vatra i ništa" (obe 1960), i knjigu rodoljubivih pesama "Smrću protiv smrti" (1959), koju je napisao zajedno s crnogorskim pesnikom Blažom Šćepanovićem. Pisao je takođe eseje i kritike, i prevodio poeziju s ruskog i francuskog. |

His suicide at the age of 27 strongly emphasized his poetry which was, from the beginning, motivated by death. He left poetry collections "Waking her in Vain" (1957), "The Origin of Hope" and "Fire and Nothing" (1960), and a book of patriotic poems "With Death Against Death" (1959), written together with Montenegroan poet Blazo Scepanovic. He also wrote essays and critics, and translated from Russian and French. | ||
