I know not everyone feels so strongly about the 13th series, but please you must understand where im coming from. Friday the 13th had some really great imagery, and wonderful directing. This film focuses on Camp Crystal Lake. It was shut down due to some mysterious deaths there. They decide to re-open the camp, then the fun starts. The murders are amazing in this movie, really! There is only one survivor at the end of this film named Alice. The ending is where Alice is talking to one of the police officers about the killer, and the cop says they didnt find any boy. A very creepy movie and a definitive slasher film series.. go watch them all!! Well, all but "Jason Takes Manhattan" anyway.
Ok I know that everyone has mixed opinions about the Blair Witch Project. Some say it is one of the lamest horror flicks ever to see the light of day. I would just like to make known that this is a truly genuine and original horror film. In today's world when we have to settle for all the crap-olla coming out of Hollywood these days a new concept is always nice. This movie is no where near perfect but still holds true in a world sadly run by teenie-bopper actors and actresses in rip-off wannabe slasher films. You never see the killer in this movie..which is probally a good thing.
Ok i will admit it..I am a genuine Vampire nut-case, and trust me when i say this is cheesiest and bloody ones ever made, it's great! This is truly John Carpenter's masterpiece. This movie starts in a big way..the first five minutes we find a vampire hut being raided by these vampire hunters (which is the basis for the entire movie. Go get rent it tonight and have fun.
There are many reasons why I love this wonderful movie directed by Tim Burton. One of the reasons is actually because it is Tim Burton that directed this masterpiece. Beetlejuice is the story of a couple that died in a car crash. They know nothing about the afterlife and call upon a "Bio-Exorcist" named Beautlegeuse to help them get rid of the new family who moved in to their home following their very sudden demise. Everyone should own this great film. I highly recommend it to everyone's Halloween parties.
