One day something flies above the earth.
It's the spacecapsule from the saiyan Radditz, Goku's brother.
He's checking on Goku because he want to know if he has completed his task on earth. But Goku didn't do it, so Radditz kidnaps Goku's son Gohan.
Radditz orders Goku to destroy the earth, if he won't do it, Radditz is going to kill Gohan.

Because Goku doesn't want to destroy the earth, he'll have to fight against his brother,but he can never do this alone.
Fortunate his friend Piccolo came by and said to Goku that he will help him against Radditz.
The fight begins, but Radditz is much stronger than they thought.

Allthough, Goku has found a way to grab Radditz from behind, and orders Piccolo to shoot at them.
But if Radditz get killed, Goku will get killed too and he will go to the next dimention. And he won't be able to help them any more.

Piccolo tells Gohan that his father will be wished back again with the Dragonballs.
The only think they don't know is that Vegeta and Nappa (2 other Saiyans) are listening to what they're saying. When they hear that you can wish what you want, they want to live forever.
They diside to go to earth and get the Dragonballs.

The earthlings: Tien, Chiaotzu, Yajarobe, Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo and Gohan has to stop Vegeta and Nappa.
Therefor they'll have to train under Kami. Exept for Gohan and Piccolo, they're training eachother.
Meanwhile Goku has to cross Snake Way to get trained by King Kaï.

After they all have trained, Goku did arrive at King Kaï's planet.
The Saiyans have arrived at earth and they're looking for the Dragonballs.
But the Z-fighters won't let them do that without a fight.

In the fight against the Saibaimen Yamcha get killed. When all Saibaimen were killed, the Z-fighters have to fight against Nappa.

Tien and Chiaotzu began to fight against Nappa. Chiaotzu used a "selfdistruct" and killed himself. But Nappa is still alive. Tien get's angry and began to fight Nappa. But all his energie is lost in a special attack...And he died. The attack missed Nappa and now he has to fight against Krillin, Piccolo and Gohan.

Vegeta tells the Z-fighters they will wait 2 hours to the arrival of Goku.
Goku has not come within 2 hours and nappa shoots a beem at Gohan, Piccolo jumps in front of it and get's killed.
Then Goku arrives. He fights against Nappa.
And Nappa got no chance against Goku.
As Nappa was still alive but he had no power left, Vegeta kills him himself.
Now Goku has to fight against Vegeta.

Vegeta can't win of Goku and has to transform into a monkey.
Vegeta breaks Goku's legs and Goku has allmost no power left.
With the power he has left he makes a spirit bomb.
Yajirobe uses his sword to cut of Vegeta's tail. He transforms back into a Saiyin.
Krillin takes Goku's spirit bomb and uses it on Vegeta.
Vegeta is still not dead but he can't fight back and he got back to his spaceship and flew away.
