| WE ARE IN NEED OF PADDLERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 11 AND 18 TO PADDLE FOR OUR TEAM THIS YEAR. WE LOST A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO AGED OUT AND STUFF, SO WE MUST FILL THEIR SEATS. YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO ENJOY THIS SPORT AND THIS TEAM. WE ALREADY HAVE 2 NEW TEAM MEMBERS. WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL TWO COMPETITION BOATS TO RACE IN NEW YORK (NEW YORK), PARSIPPANNY (NEW JERSEY), FORT DODGE (IOWA), PHILLY, AND SHANGHAI (CHINA). IT DOSE NOT MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL YOU ARE. DROP BY FOR A PRACTICE AND TRY IT OUT. TENTATIVE PRACTICE TIMES AND DATES ARE ON THE WEBSITE PHILLYDRAGONBOAT.COM |
| The most important thing in dragonboating is team work. Without teamwork the boat dose not move at its full potential. That is why our team is as good as it is right now.We worked very hard together on our timing and technique and now we have the ability to beat adults as demonstrated in our suprise second place finish in the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival. Well, suprise to everyone except us. During that race we had a 500 meter time of 2:09, our best ever up to that point. All of this done with one of the smallest teams in the country! |
