Long ago, I decided that one day I wanted to write a book (or five or six). Eventually, I realized that I would make more progress if I actually wrote something! Now my new life's ambition is to become a best-selling author. Hey, if you're gonna dream - may as well dream BIG! Until that day, I slave away in the "exciting" world of accounting. Somebody's gotta do it . . . .
Hobbies? Does clinging precariously to my sanity count? Seriously though, I enjoy playing on my computer (check out my links), reading (sci fi, fantasy, Cat Who, Star Trek - oh, and a bookcase full of self-help books), music (most types), writing, and working out. I like the beach, love the mountains, and don't see nearly enough sunsets. But my favorite way to spend my time is just being with that "someone special" who became my husband on July 26, 2005.
Biological family - yes, I have one of those and after all these years, I am finally bonding with my little brother, Mike. I am sad to say we lost our mother on January 4, 2005. My husband, Wally, and I share our home with five cats - Phaze (aka Boo), Catra, PC (short for Pussy Cat), Murray and Taz - they all definitely count as family!
You remember that old joke about only knowing your friends by their screen names? Seriously though, I have developed a few close friendships over the last few years - you all know who you are!!
