Just read Coraline by Neil Gaiman and even though you will probably find it in the age 8 to 12 section of your local bookstore I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good fantasy/horror story.

I know this is a little late but if you liked Lost in Translation make sure you see Garden State.

Go see Lost in Translation! Probably not to everyone's taste but still, a great movie.
