I learned the girl next to me was called Lola, she had dark skin and blonde hair, which I concluded in my head, her hair was dyed. We played knots and crosses on the way, it turned out to be a 3 day trip down, the horrible part of it was that they actually provided the food on the bus and we had to sleep in our seats, at one time I asked the driver how he could stay awake but he just smiled at me and turned back to the road.

I also learned a few of the other people’s names, one was Missy, she had short brown hair, slightly chubby but she had a cute smile. Another was Ryan he had red hair freckles covered his face, I ignored him most of the way he had an over achieved cocky attitude, Rola on the other hand found him amazing, she had ginger curly hair.

After awhile of traveling I noticed there was less boys then girls, well actually only one boy and the rest were girls, but by the time we arrived it didn’t really matter.

We were greeted by a Prefect of the school he had dark black hair and a lanky body, which fascinated me but I didn’t say much, but Rola and Missy flirted with him straight away.

He showed us to our rooms, every one shared a room with one other person I had been pared up with Lola.

“Okay these are the rules, basically no walking around while lights out, get to classes on time, and any rude behavior will not be tolerated you must also respect your care takers and Prefects,” he said, I raised an eye brow, “why didn’t you tell us when we were with the others?” I asked looking at him suspiciously.

He smiled at me, “You’ll find that this side of the school is the girl’s rooms while the boys rooms are on the other side of the school, it’s advised that girls don’t make visits to them or the boys don’t make visits at night, good day,” he said before walking down the corridor. I scratched my head, he had ignored my question.

We made our way in our new room, there were two beds one on each side. Our stuff had been put in the middle of the room, I took the right bed and Lola took the left, we were given an hour before we had to go the hall to eat dinner.

“This place seems strange,” Lola said quietly as she put her clothes into the closet, I turned to look at her “did you notice in this whole place they had no sign of Mirrors or Portraits?” I asked remembering that on my short tour of the place there had been absolutely no sign of paintings. “Except the one in the great hall of a dark mysterious woman whose face was covered in black,’ I say remembering the painting in the dining hall, “She is a dark woman, to know her would be death,’ Lola says still looking at her drawer I notice all her movements stopped, she was just starring at the drawer she had just opened.

I walked over to her, there was nothing in the drawer but her eyes had phased out, her blank stare upon the empty drawer. “Lola, are you okay?” I ask placing my hand on her shoulder, she shakes her head before turning her back to me, “nothing,” she whispers.

We didn’t talk for the rest of the hour we were there, and then we left for the dining hall. It was amazing so many students had arrived since my group had arrived; I made my way to the end of the line for food.

I sat down with the group I had arrived with, Rola had dragged Ryan to the table, Lola sat next to me she had been silent since she blanked out. The principal stood up to talk, the Principals name was Mr. Deocter, he wore a white suite and a black tie with long black hair, his smile was a sinister one.

I don’t think I trusted him from the word go, that’s when I noticed the Prefects table was at the back of the hall, the other side to us, as I gazed over I noticed the prefect that had taken us to our rooms was looking at me, he smiled as our eyes met, and I turned away. There was something in his eyes that I recognized but I couldn’t remember where.

I noticed Lola looking at me from the corner of her eye but I ignored it and ate my meal, the rest of the night was quiet I spent time talking to Missy but she wouldn’t shut up about her crush on the prefect then I left her and went to my room.

The next day was horrible I had eight lessons to go to, it was after the fifth lesson that I got lost and things started to weirder by the minute. I had just finished my science class I had been getting my books when I noticed my classmates had disappeared. I stood up, I had no idea where my next class was so I decided to look around, as I wondered through the corridors, I realized how many rooms there was. Many of the rooms were empty, and I soon found myself at the other side of the building.

When I turned I felt two warm hands rest on my shoulders “are you lost?’ A deep voice whispered in my ear.

“I’m fine, I just can’t find my class,” I said stepping forward and turning around, it was the prefect that had smiled at me and introduced me to my room, “Well then I guess I should just let you be, but being a prefect I will have to report you for being late to class,’ a smirk formed on his face, I glared at him. The one thing that I always hated with males is their cocky attitudes.

“Come with me and I will take you to your class,” he said before turning and walking the opposite direction, his steps were fast, I had to speed walk to keep up with him ‘how the hell do you know what class I’m in anyway, and what’s your name?’ I ask.

“The names Rio, and trust me I know,” he said looking straight ahead, he turned a corner and I followed, the next thing I knew we were making our way up our third set of stairs, “are we there yet?’ I asked, my patients wearing out, he suddenly stopped at the top of the stairs I grabbed onto his waste as I bumped into him, my foot slipped leaving Rio as the only support, “Ahhh what did you stop for?” I wined as I clung onto him. I froze when I felt his hands hold mine as he stepped forward I gained my balance and stood at the top of the stairs releasing my hold on his waist, I pushed through then turned him and glared, ‘so what did you stop for anyway?’ he didn’t answer he just smiled at me, “we are here have fun,” he said before walking back down the stairs I turned around and saw one door, as I opened the door I saw my classmates, my teacher gave me an angry glare and ordered me to sit down.

The lunch bell rung and I was great full all the teacher did was tell me off for being late, for lunch I sat with Lola, Missy and Rola. “Hey you guy you up for some fun tonight?’ Rola whispered to us, Missy smirked ‘why we going sneak out at lights out?’ Rola nodded her head, a grin spreading wider on her face.

“It’s only the second night, so soon?’ I asked looking at them both, ‘ha-ha, yes Kaori the second night, and tonight we are going to have the night of our lives, so are you guys in?’ Rola asked, Missy nodded,

After a bit of thinking I nodded, every one turned to Lola “they told us not to,” she said.

Rola and missy laughed ‘you’re kidding me, you’re actually going to listen to those prefects,’ Missy giggled, Lola glared at her ‘you are idiots to walk around at night,’ she said before standing up and leaving.
